Blíða, staðfasta afl

from Unaðsdalur by Kira Kira

about

Once a small, white feather appeared underneath my bedroom window and no matter how the winds blew, it stayed there for weeks.
This song is an ode to such steady, committed gentle forces of nature that cannot and should not be explained but simply loved and respected. Much like a person's devotion to music.

Guitar recorded in Hilmar Jensson's garage.
Vibraphone recorded in Samuli Kosminen's studio in Suomenlinna, Finland.
Trumpet recorded in Dómkirkjan cathedral.
Vocals recorded in Garðshús, Stokkseyri.
